  • Preferences: Your market watchlist, bookmarks, paper trading positions, and notification preferences.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, markets analyzed, timestamps of activity, and interaction patterns with the dashboard.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language settings.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and pages visited.
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (such as Vercel Analytics or Plausible) to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We do not purchase or obtain personal information about you from third-party data brokers. The only third-party data we process is publicly available prediction market data from platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi, which does not contain your personal information.

  • Providing the Service: Delivering market analysis, briefs, alerts, and dashboard functionality.
  • Account Management: Creating and maintaining your account, processing subscriptions, and authenticating access.
  • Communication: Sending daily briefs via Telegram, weekly digest emails, price movement alerts, and service announcements. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
  • Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve the Service, fix bugs, and develop new features. This analysis is performed on aggregated, anonymized data wherever possible.
  • Support: Responding to your inquiries and providing customer support.
  • Legal Compliance: Meeting our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Payment Processing: We share necessary billing information with our Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments) to process subscriptions and payments. Dodo Payments acts as the legal seller and processes payments on our behalf. Their privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
  • Hosting and Infrastructure: Our Service is hosted on Vercel (frontend) and Supabase (database). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Analytics: We may use privacy-focused analytics services to understand Service usage. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising-linked analytics.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfer: If Edge Finder is acquired, merged, or sells its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Data Retention

  • Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law.
  • Usage Data: Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and improvement purposes.
  • Billing Records: Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
  • Custom Analyses: Your custom market analyses are retained for 90 days after creation, after which they are automatically deleted unless you choose to save them permanently.
